[ Kael's amused look likely answers her question plainly enough. At this point he's tired of holding the mistletoe, so he just levitates it offhandedly with a lazy wave.]

We do not have a similar ritual during the Feast of the Winter Veil, however...[ He moves to take her hand within his.] Perhaps there is something similar in one of our traditions.

Frivolous? I don't think you'll count it as such in a moment. [ The lifeblood of the Sin'dorei, as he had told her many times before, was the magic that ran through their veins. It nurtured them, gave them an extended lifespan, and kept them youthful. And although in days past all of their magic came from one source, there was still a unique magical imprint of each individual. Like blood or a fingerprint, everyone's magic signature was different.

His hands cupped around her own, he channels just a bit of his magic into her. The sensation is immediate, potent, warm, and fiery. Kael excelled in many areas of magic, but pyromancy was one of his specialties and it shows. As his magic runs through her it flares and cascades, coursing from her hands into her heart. To someone like her, from someone like him it might be a bit of a shock even-- though he was careful to control his mana as best he could. Still, he wouldn't have done such a thing if he didn't think her capable of handling it, his respect for her and her magic unspoken.]

You could say this is a "magical kiss".

[Anathema doesn't even get the chance to ask what he means. The playful grin had barely touched her face before it vanished with a soft gasp, the flow of magic spreading through her like a wildfire.]

We call it Dela'na Fore, or in Common the "Sun's Touch". Even before the destruction of the Sunwell, the winter months were a time of reflection. The sun guides us eternally, but during the winter months she takes a brief rest. This is a reminder to share what we have with one another.

[ Of course for the Prince of Quel'thalas to share his magic with anyone else was pratically unheard of, save amongst his family. But Kael hadn't thought too much of it, and there was no one else around to decry the intimate act.]

I suppose we have. [Is her voice a little shaky? She's going to blame that on the sensation overload, and she'll blame the flush on her face on it as well while she's at it. But she's smiling, possibly brighter than before, and shakes her head with a little laugh.] Though I don't think I'll be mentioning this in any of my studies when I return.

[As much as she would like to see the looks on her peers' faces if they knew of this little exchange. No, this is special, something intimate, something of Kael'thas that she selfishly wants to keep for herself.]

[It's only when the warmth of his magic seems to settle that she steps forward again, thankful that his hands keep her from swaying on her feet. Emboldened, she leans up, presses a second soft kiss to his cheek - a little gratitude as well as affection, and, well. It seems a shame to waste the mistletoe still floating above them.]
