Killia & Mikazuki, Trustfell R4
美しい
They've slipped into a routine of sorts, where it's just another mundane daily action. It hadn't started out this way, really how could it— it's not every day that another man asks you to help undress him. At first Killia had thought that it was a ploy like the many Seraphina would ask and demand of him, but that was quickly disproven when he saw Mikazuki's genuine embarrassment. And though he had thought it odd, and really did think that the sword spirit should wear another outfit which wasn't needlessly complicated, he agreed to help. The action didn't cost him anything, and deep down he really liked being helpful to others when he could, which he didn't think was too often.
Lately though, he had found it more difficult. He's been doing this for weeks now, should probably be able to find all the buttons and clasps in his sleep and yet his hands felt more clumsy each day, felt more awkward each layer he removed.
"Ah sorry I've almost got it." He felt the need to apologize despite the way the other stood there patiently, humming as he waited.
There finally, that was the third layer removed which meant that he was done, much to his relief.
"Thank you Killia." As was habit, the swordspirit twirled around to face him, with a warm almost mischievous smile.
And as he found himself doing more nowadays, Killia just kind of stared before realizing that he should probably say something in return.
"You're very-" There was a word he was looking for here, one that didn't find much use in his vocabulary.
--
"You like that flower, don't you Killia?"
"No, what makes you say that?"
"The way you're staring at it!"
"That's not true it's just-"
"Beautiful. It's okay to find things beautiful, Killia. Even if you weren't staring at it, I can tell. Did you know that your wings curl a certain way when you really like something? I do! You do it when you eat my apple pie, hehehe."
--
Like before, he couldn't seem to speak the word. Like before, he could feel his wings curl.
"I'm very what?~"
"Very-" His actions often got in front of his head, and this was no exception as he stepped forward, tripping over the layer of clothes he was still holding. Down they went tumbling towards the floor, but at least Killia was able to take the brunt of the fall which was the least he could do considering.
It should have been more awkward with the other man lying on top of him, but considering they slept entwined with each other (for warmth his mind added, even if that wasn't quite true) Killia was only a bright shade of pink and not red. They sorted themselves out quickly enough, with much apologies on his end, not that Mikazuki seemed to mind. Of course, it wasn't too long after that the question was brought up again.
"What were you going to say before?
"...I don't remember, sorry."
Maybe tomorrow he would be able to say it, maybe tomorrow he wouldn't "forget".

"YO, IZZY OPEN UP!"
So Terumi knew that Isaac kept some pretty odd hours, probably because he kept really odd hours himself. He also knew that Isaac bunked with that kid (well and the shitty vampire, but when did Ferid's anything matter to him) and that he was disturbing three people right now at 5:30 in the goddamn morning, but that was irrelevant. And he also knew that if he kept knocking Isaac would come to the door sooner rather than later, just to get him to keep quiet.
Which he did.
"Terumi what do you-"
"Took you freakin long enough, come on." And he dragged Isaac out, through a combination of strength he really shouldn't have at 134 lbs and sheer needling.
"Are you going to tell me what's so important for us to be doing at nearly 6 in the morning?"
"Don't tell me you're in a rush or something, all you'd be doing is laying in that room staring at the damn ceiling." Which was probably true, but Terumi didn't let Isaac object regardless.
"Anyway, Yuri told me this works better if I had someone with me so I want to try it."
"Try what?"
"You'll find out soon enough." And that was the end of that, as was often the case with their conversations when Terumi wouldn't budge on something.
It was nearly an hour later when Isaac had finally had enough of waiting for whatever this was, and was about to leave when Terumi relented.
"Now's good, it should be open." He strode off towards the direction of the kitchen, expecting Isaac to follow....which he did, for some reason even he didn't understand.
" I don't like to do this when there's people around, too much of a pain in the ass." He was already grabbing a big pot to fill with water, and had the fridge open.
"You can cook?" The state alchemist sounded incredulous, which was fair considering he never really saw Terumi eat much of anything. In fact he wasn't even sure if the green haired man even needed to eat.
"What, is that so surprising?" He'd have sounded wounded, if he was even capable of such a thing.
Isaac's confusion only grew as he watched Terumi dump an entire carton of eggs into the now boiling water with a bit of salt. He'd have asked what Terumi was making, but he knew he probably wouldn't get an answer. And so he stood there for several minutes as the world's most awkward kitchen decoration until Terumi spoke up again.
"That should do it." He scooped up the eggs from the water with more care than Isaac had ever seen him have in anything, before placing them gingerly in a large bowl.
"...so why did you need me here exactly?"
"Yuri was telling me bout how food tastes better in the company of friends or some shit."
"Friends? I'm your frien-" Isaac never got to finish the sentence as a metal bowl was promptly chucked at his head.
